Parking: We have received permission to use the EconoLodge’s parking lot next door to us.  Parking is also available in the Park & Ride parking lot across the street. You can also park on the right hand side of Pine St. (side street that runs behind us) Please do not park on the grassy areas or in the back parking lot as this is where we are set up.

Cotton Weeds is Growing!

Yes, Cotton Weeds is moving up – literally!  As of September 1 (if all goes according to schedule), our classroom will be moving to the second floor directly above where it is now.  Interior stairs are being constructed (excuse the mess)so that access will be from inside Cotton Weeds. We are also adding a kitchen area for our special events.  With the classroom upstairs, we will have more space for fabric and goodies!

Check out the new class schedule and join us in our new spacious classroom!

Stencilscape Class with

Red Rooster Fabric Designer Jackie Paton

Saturday, Sept 25th, 8:30-5:00

Cotton Weeds is so excited to have Jackie Paton, fabric designer for Red Rooster Fabrics, come teach her stencilscape technique. Anyone can do this! No painting experience or artistic ability is necessary!  You’ll be making an adorable wall hanging with sheep, houses, and crows as Jackie teaches you her fool-proof technique of painting on fabric with freezer paper stencils. You will leave with the completed painted portion of Good Neighbors and the pattern to complete the quilt portion of the project. Sign up early as class size is limited. Come see Jackie’s beautiful sample. Class fee is $65.00 plus $15.00 supplies fee payable to Jackie for paints, brushes, etc. Bring your lunch. A yummy dessert will be served in the afternoon. Come see Jackie's quilt at the shop!
