Jo's Little Women' Club

You are invited to step back in time and join Jo Morton club. If you're a lover of reproduction fabrics and you love to make reproduction quilts...Jo Morton's Little Women' club is for you. She has the best patterns and books and you'll love making all of them. Here's how the club works. Beginning July 15th for six months, we will meet the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:30 pm. Each month you will work from Jo's new book, Coming Home. We will have door prizes, refreshments and some months a guest teacher. The cost is $90.00 which include 6 classes/meetings, her new book, Coming Home and a 25 Fat quarter bundle of Jo's fabrics to get you started!

Buck-A-Block 

Time to sign up for this year's Buck-A-Block and wait ‘til you see it! We have chosen Veranda by Maywood Studios. This group blends elegant florals with chic geometrics with a fresh modern color pallette which brings that airy garden patio feeling indoors. This year year's quilt is twin size and finishing kits are available. Stop by, take a look and sign up.

Rules are the same as last year: $1.00 each month, you can pick up your block anytime during the month, but you must pick up your own block.  If you miss a block, the next block is $3.00 to get you started again.  Last year we had over 130 quilters participate.  Join in on the fun with the best deal in town!

Scrap Block Mania

It's a "Not-So-Block-of-the-Month"! Here's how it works: Come in any time during the month, pick up a strip kit, pay just $5.00 and make 8 - 6" split nine patch blocks for less than $.75 per block! Each month will have different fabrics and you can choose from two different color ways; batiks, traditional or both. There will be limited quantities available each month. (Limit one kit of each color way per person per month) You can do as few or as many months as you like. No reservations required! Don't forget to pick yours up.

Tips & Hints

When you stitch the label on the back of your quilt, place a few 2" to 4" pieces of the fabrics used in the quilt top behind the label (between the quilt back and the label). This way, if the quilt ever needs to be repaired, you will have the right fabrics on hand to make a nice matching repair.  Additionally, they will have been laundered at the same rate as the quilt and should blend nicely.
