Hot New Notions
Mary Ellen's Best Press - There's no
flaking, clogging, or white residue on dark fabrics. A special stain
shield protects fabrics and Best Press helps resist wrinkles. Best of
all, it's more effective than any starch you've ever used.
Crafter's mini spinner - The tiny tote
with spinning possibilities. Holds all your "tools"!
The gripper's single suction cup will
work with smooth surface rulers and templates under 4in wide. Use it on
all small rulers and templates with the same gripping power as its big
sister.
Pin fabric pieces to design wall. Step
back and view through reducing glass. Study color balance, value of
light and dark contrasts and effect of developing pattern.

see it finished. We will have thread kits available shortly
Mini pins are so fun to make! Make
as pins or frame them.

morning glory, hibiscus and other flowers. Finishing kits of sashing and
border fabric will be available.
Rules are the same as last year:

but you must pick up your own block. If you miss a block, the next

Tips & Hints
When you stitch
the label on the back of your quilt, place a few 2" to 4" pieces of the
fabrics used in the quilt top behind the label (between the quilt back
and the label). This way, if the quilt ever needs to be repaired, you
will have the right fabrics on hand to make a nice matching repair.
Additionally, they will have been laundered at the same rate as the
quilt and should blend nicely.
